We are very pleased to start September, as we warmly welcome five new trainees and one dual student to our ranks. This important step enhances the commitment to training young talent in the field of electronics and automation technology in the Mainfranken region that the business and sibling duo Caroline and Christian Trips have been actively promoting and living for decades.
The new trainees will learn the profession of electronics technician (m/f/d) for automation technology, while the dual student will begin an exciting journey in the bachelor’s degree program in electrical engineering and information technology (BET) in cooperation with the Würzburg-Schweinfurt Technical University (THWS). With this step, we are once again focusing on strengthening young talent as innovation leaders in the industry.

As TRIPS, we are proud of our long-standing tradition of supporting young talent. In addition to numerous campaigns during the year, such as Girls Day, participation in MINT Day, the RegioMainfranken Tour or as a sponsor of the Wissenswerkstatt (Knowledge Workshop) in Schweinfurt, we are actively involved in SBIT (the annual Schweinfurt Career Information Days trade fair on the Main Island) and have for decades relied on in-house training for the careers of tomorrow.
To increase our presence in the area of training and career opportunities, we recently launched an internal campaign accompanied by social media under the slogan “#TRIPSteam – Strong together. Successful individually.” launched. In weekly posts on the internal collaboration platform as well as on the social media channels, Caroline and Christian Trips’ company shows inspiring career paths of employees who started their training at TRIPS. This campaign not only serves to highlight the diverse career paths that are possible, but also aims to offer current trainees perspectives for their own future.
“Our apprentices are the engine for our future and innovation,” says Caroline Trips, Managing Director of TRIPS Group and IHK President Würzburg-Schweinfurt. “By integrating new talent into our team, we not only focus on professional development, but also promote personal development and cohesion within our company.”
TRIPS can look back on a successful corporate development and now employs more than 300 people at four locations. “We are proud to be a diverse and growing community that trains talent, promotes it and lets it succeed together. We look forward to a successful collaboration with our new trainees and the dual student and are excited about the fresh ideas and impulses they will bring to our company,” says Christian Trips about the success of the company’s own training workshop with the significant title “In charge of the future” and the bond of the entire team to the company.
