For more than 60 years, the combined heat and power plant Stuttgart-Gaisburg has supplied more than 25,000 apartments, 1,300 companies and 300 public institutions in Stuttgart and the region with heat. In the course of modernization work, the cogeneration plant, mainly fired by coal, was replaced by a much smaller, more efficient and lower-emission gas heating plant.

TRIPS creates for the MAN power heat coupling the hardware planning and software and implements the commissioning. The entire system has an electrical output of about 30MW, and a thermal output of about 30MW.

At the official inauguration, Caroline Trips (Management TRIPS) and Ewald Stele (Software Development TRIPS) were on location in Stuttgart and were able to initiate a successfully implemented project with those responsible.
