TRIPS is familiar with the numerous challenges, which come along with the construction and operation of plants for the generation and transmission of renewable energy on the control and automation level.


Regarding wind energy TRIPS delivers control and protection switchgears for German and international on- and offshore parks as well as for the appropriate HVDC. The scope includes station control systems, communication and interface systems, valve electronics, DC control and protection systems. These systems meet highest requirements regarding the reliability of the more and more productive wind power plants which are designed for long operation times meeting extreme weather conditions.

Biogas / Biomass

TRIPS supplies a likewise know-how base for plant manufacturers of biogas or biomass plants, which transfer slurry and vegetable waste into power and heat by means of up-to-date control technology. Here the complete TRIPS automation is applied, beginning from the CAD design capture over the programming of the controls and the visualization, the switchgear construction up to the commissioning of these autarkic power stations.


The same scope is supplied for the installation of complete wood pellet plants, for example to control the stem wood and woodchip storage ground, the plants for chipping, sieving and grinding, the storage silos or the boiler plants which deliver the required heat.

Water Power

Above this TRIPS engineers and technicians convince in the field of automation and modernization of water-power plants. They raise the bar concerning availability, monitoring and appliance of the process control for water power and turbine control.

Geothermical energy

Last not least geothermical energy is a field, in which competences and experience of the TRIPS team is applied for the engineering and switchgear construction of the appropriate power generation plants and building control systems.
