For our headquater in Grafenrheinfeld we are looking for a electrical engineer protection technology (m/f/d).

Key duties:

  • Commissioning of secondary technology in low-voltage, medium-voltage and high-voltage power transmission/distribution substations
  • Developing concepts for complex power systems protection and control technology to meet customer’s requirements
  • Driving design related topics from early hardware concepts development until manufacturing, parametrization, testing and customer acceptance
  • Parameterization of secondary bay control and protection devices
  • Testing protection relays and concepts with OMICRON CMC device to fulfill requirements of customers
  • Creation of specifications, operating instructions, automated OCC test reports
  • Coordination of project timelines and deadlines with respective project manager and customer
  • Conduction of training courses

Qualification required:

  • Degree in electrical engineering with a focus on power engineering or comparable
  • Alternative: Completed training as an electrical technician (m/f) with focus on energy technology (or comparable)
  • Solid knowledge on MV/HV protection standards and testing concepts
  • Expertise in parameterization and testing Siemens SIPROTEC 4&5, ABB, Schneider Electric protection relays
  • Understanding communication network concepts (RSPT, PRP, HSR) and solid knowledge on IEC61850 protocol to configurate signals for SAS and GOOSE messaging
  • Strong understanding on hardware design and drawings of switchgears (Interlocking, mechanical protection etc.)
  • Ability to work in a team and sense of responsibility
  • very good language skills in English and willingness to learn German
  • Readiness to travel worldwide
