We are looking for a Software Engineer for PCS7 (m/f/d) at our Grafenrheinfeld site with immediate effect.

Key duties:

  • Project planning, implementation and commissioning of process control systems tailored to customer requirements.
  • Specification and selection of new systems
  • Creation of SPS programs and implementation of interfaces
  • Programming PCS 7 included Add ons (Industry Library, BRAUMAT, CEMAT, BATCH, Route Control)
  • Programming Scripts in languages C and Visual Basic
  • In-house inspections as well as coordination and handling of commissioning at home and abroad
  • Training of employees and customers
  • Creation and maintenance of project-related documentation, such as specifications, project plans, test plans and operating instructions
  • Internal tests and preparation for commissioning
  • Planning and execution of Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
  • Troubleshooting on site at the customer, worldwide, as well as remote maintenance of the systems installed by us

Qualification required:

  • Completed studies in electrical engineering or automation engineering or training as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) in the field of electrical engineering or automation engineering.
  • Specialist knowledge in the field of PCS 7 and very good knowledge in dealing with Industry Library, Braumat, Batch und Route Control.
  • Experience in field of programming, measure, control and regulation
  • You see responsibility, worldwide commissioning as a challenge, but teamwork is also an important part of your work.
  • International readiness to travel.
  • Very good knowledge of English and willingness to learn German. Spanish is a plus.
  • several years of professional experience in automation technology, preferably in beverage and food technology desirable
  • Knowledge of Fieldbus (Profibus/Profinet)
  • Knowledge in Virtual Machines (VMWare/ESXi Server)
  • Knowledge in CMT/EMT
  • Knowledge of Simatic S7 / TIA Portal and/or B&R
  • Knowledge in the visualization of machine functionalities (HMI)
  • Knowledge in SIMIT and CEMAT is a plus
