Hydrogen is no longer a topic for the future – it has long been part of our present. As a clean energy source, flexible storage and industrial solution, it plays a central role in the success of the energy transition. But there is only one way to achieve widespread use: cooperation. This is precisely why TRIPS is now a member of the Bavarian Hydrogen Alliance – a strong alliance that not only talks about hydrogen, but also shapes it.
A network for real change
The Bavarian Hydrogen Alliance, initiated and coordinated by Zentrum Wasserstoff.Bayern (H2.B), brings together almost 400 players from industry, research and politics. The aim is to develop Bavaria into a leading location for hydrogen technologies – through know-how, cooperation and concrete project work.
The focus is on topics such as:
- the development and industrialization of PEM electrolyzers
- the development of a nationwide H₂ infrastructure
- New approaches in storage, logistics and automated production
- linking research, practice and the political framework
What particularly appeals to us about this alliance is that it brings people and ideas together – open, practical and future-oriented.

TRIPS brings experience from implementation
As a company with over 45 years of engineering experience, we are convinced that hydrogen not only needs concepts, but also functioning solutions. And that is exactly what we are already working on today.
Among other things, we have contributed to:
- of a 30 MW electrolysis plant in a German energy park
- a 10 MW future project with SOEC test unit in Germany
TRIPS takes on central technical tasks in both projects – this is the basis of our expertise in the field of hydrogen, particularly in the areas of hardware engineering, switchgear construction, protection technology and grid calculations.
Our vision is clear: engineering future solutions – for us, this means playing a key role in the energy transition and the realization of modern future technologies – reliably, innovatively and with technical depth.
